PROCLEIX® HIV-1/HCV Assay

  • Detects HIV-1 RNA and HCV RNA at 100 copies/mL1
  • Probes and primers target conserved regions of the viral genomic sequence to maximize detection of:2
    • HIV-1 group M, including subtypes A-G and groups N and O
    • HCV genotypes 1-6

Optimized Workflow with the PROCLEIX® System

A single operator can perform up to 200 tests in 5 hours.
  • Use the TECAN GENESIS Robotic Sample Processor (RSP) to pipette samples and reagents for viral lysis and target capture.
  • With the PROCLEIX® Target Capture System (TCS), perform magnetic separation and wash away unbound particles are washed away.
  • The PROCLEIX HC+ Luminometer detects Internal Control and viral nucleic acid signals simultaneously.
